Lens release button

I am not sure it maybe my fat fingers, but twice now I have found that I have caught the Lens release button and nearly lost the lens from the camera without realizing it was loose. It seems a strange place to put the release button when the a7r iii grip is quite narrow. Has anybody else had this problem?

I've not heard of any other similar issues.  Perhaps someone else in the community can provide you with some feedback if they have a similar problem.
