When I take stills and regular video there are no problems, but when I turn on S&Q mode the camera activates APS-C mode and cannot be turned off in the menu. What am I doing wrong? Video format is XAVC S 4K and frame rate 25p, frame rate 50fps and recording mode 100M 4-2-0 8 bit. My lens is Sony FE 2.8/70-200 GM OSS II og fuldt opdateret.
I found reason. It is as it should be acording to Friedmann. He explains.
This feature has three settings:
1. On – Only pay attention to the center APS-C sized portion of
the sensor; yielding 14 MP images. The camera adjusts the Live View image so that only the APS-C-area of the sensor fills the viewfinder. You will see an icon in the lower-right-hand corner of your Live View screen.
2. Auto – let the camera automatically choose 1) above if it detects an APS-C lens is attached, or if you’re shooting a video.
3. Off – Never shoot cropped – always the full frame, even if you have an APS-C lens attached.
