Notfication sounds!

Any notfication when recive same sound all apps snap, whatsupp ets this sound in notification sound, all apps not work sound just sound notification from sitting xperia

Pls how fix it?

If you want to use your own sounds, create a folder in the storage root called "Media", and inside that create another called "audio", and inside that, create 2 called "notifications" and "ringtones".

Then just put your sounds in either folder, and you can select them from the Sound setting on the Xperia 1.

Some apps and programmes will let you change the sounds, or tones, others will not, unless you used a 3rd party launcher, you are at the programmers mercy.

It has solved a problem, in that an MP3 I have had through many phones would not work on the X1.

What is silly (are you listening Sony?) is that the root folder contains Notifications and Ringtones folders - but putting an MP3 in the latter didn't work. I had to create the non-existent Media folder and the subfolders in order for this to work.

This has got to be an error in coding. Someone has had the (good) idea to make the Notifications & Ringtones folders more visible by putting them in the root folder, but then failed to code the phone app to look for Ringtones there (and, by the sound of it, this applies to notifications as well). 

This needs adding to the growing list of required bug fixes.
