Flash Player - BDP-S3500

I am trying to connect to the ITV HUB but it keeps telling me my version of Flash player needs updating and offers a link to The Flash Player download page. the Flash Player page tells me that my version is 'Linux 32 bit English, Opera' and I am offered four options to download 1) YUM for Linux, 2) .tar,.gz for Linux, 3) .rpt for Linux, 4) APT for Ubuntu 10.04+. I have tried downloading YUM but this does nothing.

Can anyone tell me if Flash Player is actually installed on the BDP-S3500 DVD / Blu-ray player and if so which version should I be updating.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi there

Flash player is not installed on any Sony devices - it cannot be installed on your device either unfortunately.

Many thanks for clarifying things. Is it possible there is a workaround available or does this mean that one cannot link up with any sites requiring Flash Player?
