STR-KS2300 E2P INIT?

My Home theater main unit just says E2P INIT after power on and does not respond to any other butttons of the device (or remote) except power on/off. So I can turn it off, but when I turn it on it just says E2P INIT. The problem just started suddenly. Does anyone know what this message/code means and if there is something that can be done about it? Appreciate any help.

Hi there

I cannot obtain the service manual for your system, but it sounds like a hardware fault. The only suggestion i have is to try and reset the device. See instructions below. If that fails, you could try contacting Sony Support or contact a repair centre, but if it is a hardware fault, you are probably looking at a new system now as its likely to be un-economical to repair.
