Youtube video loading issue on Sony Bravia KDL300PX22

Hi all,

All of a sudden my Youtube videos stopped playing on my Sony Bravia TV. Till date I had no issues whatsoever. It logs on to my Youtube account and I am able to navigate through my playlists. But when I select a video to play it just displays as YOU TUBE on the screen and nothing happens. Videos on other sites like dailymotion are playing fine now.

What could be the problem here.

I have the same issue with my Sony Bravia, and also noticed that on PC for a few days now most youtube videos play no so smooth anoymore; I think it may be related to an update on youtube side that Sony didn't implement yet. Anyway, all other internet video services work, so it must be some API change on Youtube.

I have the same problem on my KDL-32EX403 as well. Hopefully someone from Sony will read this soon and resolve the problem!

There was a temporary fault affecting YouTube Videos loading on Bravia.

The fault has now been resolved and should not be problem anymore.

Unbelievable! Youtube sometime is worknig, another time it is not. At the same time it is working through the regular browser and not working through the widget! I do not even have a clue how shall I configure the TV's network.

Disappointed - is this really a Sony?

I had a problem with my Sony Bravia 40EX520 and it was very frustrating.

The youtube videos which used to play before, stopped playing suddenly.

Solution that might work is:

Select the youtube video -> options -> video playback quality -> change from HD - SD or viceverca and play again.. Hope it helps

I still have the youtube video loading issue please resolve it ASAP it’s not even a month i bought this TV and i’am facing such problems. If i would knew this earlier i would not have gone for sony bravia

Sony Bravia KLV-40W652D is not playing youtube videos. While i click on play button the video keeps on loading but doesn’t play. Please help me out fixing the issue.

I guess this model KLV-40W652D is not a European one. Maybe you can check with the community. I think you can check this issue in the US community, maybe they have a solution over there.

Hi @miltonmac

Your TV has probably more in common with your phone that the OP's. Do the videos just keep buffering when using Youtube or do you get an error message?
