Bravia KDL-32W705B apps - lack of

The apps on Bravia are getting less and less, the useful apps almost completely gone Youtube iPlayer (when it works) where is ITV, All4 and My5. I saw someone suggesting an Amazon Firestick, is this really a line from SONY how come other TV companies like Samsung can do it?
