Cant control sony audio system volume from sony bravia

Hey,

I have a Sony Bravia KD-55X8505B connected on the ARC HDMI port to a Sony Cinema System

BDV-E3100. I can control the Cinema System using Bravia Sync and I can control my SKY Set- top box with the TV remote as well but cant seem to increase the volume of the audio system with the TV remote. I have tried changing all the settings and swapping HDMI cables but still no luck. This used to work previously but stopped to work.

Has anyone encountered this issue before? If so how did you go about fixing the issue. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Hi there

As it used to worked before, then it should work again. Most likely cause is the HDMI Connection.
