    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi there&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Im not sure how to actually explain this, but....&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;AVI is just a container, where you can use different encoding codecs, but still be under the AVI container.&amp;nbsp; Some of the codecs may be supported by your TV, and others cannot.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I would recommend you either converting the files to a format your TV recognises, or use a piece of software called Homestream (or Serviio).&amp;nbsp; Homestream is Sony's answer to the various file formats/codecs available, which is based on the Serviio software.&amp;nbsp; &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;A class="loading" href="http://www.sony.co.uk/hub/1237485339460" title="http://www.sony.co.uk/hub/1237485339460"&gt;http://www.sony.co.uk/hub/1237485339460&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hope that helps in any way.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
