After a few years our Bravia TV (KDL 40W4500) now always has horizontal lines / blocks with some ghosting when its switched on.

This disappears after 20 mins. however is rather annoying. The picture is then perfect. It's as though the TV needs 'warming' up to work properly!

Does anyone know how to get rid of this or have any suggestions?

Thanks, Dilys

I think it's a problem with the panel of this specific model for which Sony agreed an extended warranty more than 3 years ago, now closed by a long time... I think it's better you start looking for a new TV, I'm sorry
