Hi there

I understand where your coming from. However both Netflix and Amazon are using different video codecs (HEVC or H.265) in regards to streaming 4K content. Unfortunately this codec was formally ratified after these first 4K TV sets were released, and the TVs hardware was unable to cope with the added processing load to decode these codecs.

Cheers

Hi there

I cant advise you on what you 'should' do I can only advise you to consider whether you think its necessary and worth it. Meaning, for the cost of the FMP-X5 - would you get the use out of it, mainly in streaming Netflix 4K content or video files using the HEVC codec.

Cheers
