50w829 - 3D picture appears stretched?

Watching James Cameron's Ghost of the Abyss & the 3D picture seems stretched. When a person turns side ways their shoulders pop out the screen giving the impression the person is like Joan Collins & wearing 1980's huge shoulder pads!!

Is this normal or do I need to adjust any settings?

Hi there

3D - where to start. Different movies display 3D differently, better or worse and I guess it depends on how much money the movie company wants to spend on 3D for the movie. When it does 'pop' out of the screen, it is a bit stretched as its not a natural. It really depends on how the movie company implements it to be honest.

Some 3D movies give a sense of depth to the screen, others implement effects to 'pop' out. Or both.
