If the issue still existed, please provide us with the below information to be able to escalate the issue to a higher technical department: 1- Wired Mac Address, and device IP Address: - If you use wireless connection, please establish wired connection instead (If you do not have an Ethernet cable, please proceed with establishing the wired connection anyway which should fail. Once you get this outcome choose “Quit network setup” and continue the instructions) - Using the remote control press Home/Menu: - Go to Settings. - Go to Network, press OK. - Go to Network Set-up, press OK - Go to View Network Status, press OK. 2- Device ID and Current firmware version Installed on device: “Please write the exact Version” - Turn on your TV and press the HOME button on the remote to display the Home Menu - Navigate to Product Support category and press OK. - Navigate to System Information and press OK. - On the TV screen, the firmware version number should appear on the screen now. 3- Current post code. 4- Internet service provider and actual internet speed Using www.SpeedTest.net 5- Brand and model of the router 6- Signal strength (number of bars that you get when establishing the connection.) 7- The date on which the issue started happening 8- The public IP address by visiting www.whatismyip.com 9- Network Environment: “i.e FTTH, Broadband” Some of this information can be obtained by contacting your internet service provider.

Can you goto :http://www.iplocation.net

and ensure that your IP address is showing that you are located in UK.

Do you have any non-standard network settings, either on your router, or on your TV? Also, are you using a third party provider, such as unblock-us (or other DNS or VPN service?)

@macgers77 - Did you manage to resolve your issue by any chance? If so, how? Also, I don't suppose your ISP is virgin?

@taspland - Can you please confirm your TV's model? Is it the W905 model like the other two posters on this thread?

All - At what stage do you get that error message? Can you even load up the application at all?

I spoke directly to a technician today ( not call centre staff) we went through everything deep in the TV router settings etc. he confirmed that the issues were deeper than consumer level and would take intervention at server level and or firmware update , he mentioned another yesterday had the exact same issues and I informed him of others reporting the exact same issues both on this forum and others. Unfortunately resolution of the problem could take days weeks ..........no quick easy fix!,,,

Same issue with me here in the UK.

TV arrived today and everything is OK except Netflix nw4-8 error.

I have both ps3 and PS4 and netflix works fine with these devices; So must just be a Bravia TV issue.

Hopefully it will get resolved soon. At least I still have option of watvhing on my consoles.

Any updates on this, just bought my first Bravia TV 3 weeks ago and my kids are unable to use my netflix account which i signed up for the same week - seems a bit of a waste and not what I expected from a brand like Sony.
