KDL-50W685A 2D to 3D conversion

Hi all.

Apparently this model ahs 2D to 3D conversion for all content but I can't seem to find out how I actually do it.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Or is it just another feature Sony decided to remove in an update?

Sadly not.

That's just the same as tha manual I have checked on the TV. It doesn't say anything about 2D to 3D conversion.

Hi there

I have had a bit more of a dig on this. The feature you require is "Simulated 3D". According to the specifications : HERE, this is not supported (see pic below)

I have it on my W8
On that you press the 3d button on the remote, don't know if that helps.

The effect however is negligable and not worth wearing 3d glasses.
