Blinking red light 3 times

I have TV Bravia 24EX320 for about 2 years. since yesterday there is no picture but blinking red light 3 time and repeating in about 3 seconds.

Last night I was getting picture but only for 1-2 minutes after unpluging from main, also last night I connected to the internet and watched for about 30 minutes. Now no picture at all only the blinking light. I hope you can help.

welcome to the Sony User Community Forum..

If the stanby light is flashing red then it indicates that the TV's self diagnosis mode has been activated, I suggest you contact your local authorised Sony service centre and inform the them of the sequence that the Standby light flashes..

This is only 2-3 year old TV. How much is expected to cost me to get sony
centre to sort it out??. This is a poor quality product I paid premium
price for it because as I always buy sony?

Hi there

I have had a look at the service manual for your model tv, 3 blinks is indicates a DC Alert (or audio and communications error). According to your description I would put it as a DC Alert (power) - B Board.

Unfortunately that is all I can find out im afraid. As Thalamus said above, your best bet is to contact an authorised Sony Repair Centre : HERE and find out the likely price.
