Any idea if this TV can be wall mounted using a swival arm bracket?

Seems KDL42W653A does not take a standard VESA fitting and for the sake of having four screw hole fittings in the right place it seems we cannot take a Sony TV and must look elsewhere. Very frustrating and quite a big design flaw.

Hi,

It's the same issue with the smaller 32 inch model. Really disappointed. Our TV is in an alcove and that's why we need a swivel extending bracket.

Don't know if this helps, but I've just been pointed off the this link, where it appears a conversion kit is now available. Brackets are pricey, but I'm trying to find out if the conversion kit is available separately.
