Charging issue on Z4 tablet

Wondering if anywone else have the same issue as me. I really love this tablet but the charging time is terrible. 10% per hour with the tablet switched off. This is bugging me so much. I tried with my charger from samsung wich has a bit stronger output but same thing there. If i use The tablet while charging it will still not keep up even if I decrease brightness to 50%. Is this normal? I switched from ipad 2 air to z4

Why not check battery usage before having to perform a complete rebuilt of the tablet. Could then perhaps just try reinstalling any app high up on bat usage. Always very quick to suggest a compete reinstall of the firmware. That takes a long time to get the device back to how you had it setup.

The thing is that the charging issue should not be affected by any apps if the tablet is off. Thats why I dont understand why should I reinstall the whole thing. I read it on some other forums that it takes about 4-5 days of usage untill the battery starts working properly. So I will wait a few days and see if something changes

how many amps is your charger? standard phone wall worts often only suply 1amp, but I use a 2.1 amp charget for the z2 and it does charge faster.

The Sony charger has an output of 1.5A and the Samsung charger that I'm using now 2.0A. I think I kan see a small difference in charging time with the Samsung charger but not that significant unfortunatly. I men 3-4 hours to charge it full I would fing acceptable but 10 hours is just to **bleep** long. The disscharging time is fine though, so not all is lost for me and my Z4.

And as I said I really love this thing so and not looking forward to returning it at all

Allright guys Im finally starting to realize that what I read at other forums is starting to actually be true. Today I got from 74% till 100 in 45minutes. With the stock charger. And the tablet on. I guess its true that it takes 4-5 days for the battery to start working properly. I will let it discharge to zero then time it if I can to see the difference. To be cotinued....

I don't think there should be any problem. From experience using a similar charger with my old Z tablet, you should use the 2.1A socket, and the tablet will take a LOT of the charge - you will probaly get a maximum of two charges from the external battery, if that.

(Typed with the BKB50 keyboard, which I finally got to work!)

When Play a Game XCom: Enemy Within and plug the Standard Sony Charger the Accu decrased slowly.

The Sony Charger have not enough Power?

The Sony Contact Formular not work. Send Button not clickable?

My Z4 shows erratic charging behavior, battery shows sign of charging but the orange light goes off and change stops at 50 or 60%. Restart sometimes turns charging on for a short time but percentage is not growing. Battery app shows strange jumps in Voltage and temperature.

I have used different cables and chargers but it does not help. After about 3 weeks the battery should be formed, although I have not discharged it completely, just tried to charge it overnight, from 30-40%.

Very annoying.

I have other charging issue. After latest android update tablet can be charged from wall only. Any attempt from PC or power bank is rejected.

Do you have similar experience ?

Im using the sony quickcharge uch10 which utilize the qualcom chipset that z4 hv. its great. will be fullcharge in about 2 hours with charging rate of 1.8amp(reported by ampere application). the newer quickcharge uch12 will be faster i belive with a rate of 1.9amp. ive test with normal samsung charger with rated of 2.0, the actuall rate is only 1.5amp. btw with the note 5 charger that support qualcom quickcharge, the charging rate is 2.6amp! its the same speed i get from aukey quickcharge powerbank.

My Z4 Tablet charges very slowly despite having a new charger and cable and being checked by a computer technician.

It also loses charge even when charger cable connected
