Hi,

I've got an issue with the Walkman app running on a Sony Tablet SGPT121GB/s with the latest software.

The Walkman app finds the music folders on a couple of wireless drives however some of the albums show incomplete tracks, as an example the walkman app will only show 10 tracks of a 14 track album.

It's not a wireless / drive issue as the albums show and play as complete albums through a pc / iPAD / SONOS with a wireless connection.

Is this another example of flakey Sony softare?

Is it possible to re-install the Sony Walkman app?

Is there a track / size limit Walkman can handle via WiFi?

Help appreciated as this is hurting my head! - Thanks

i guess it is flakey software / child disease / not fully internationally tested and released anyway

check the filenames of the missing songs: any funny characters used?

No random characters,must be a folder size read issue as Walkman can't cope with compilation albums / collections.

SONOS system picks up all tracks, as does iTunes and Windows Media Player,

Sony Xperia Tablet SGPT121 and Sony Xperia T phone both crash and burn with the same problem so it must be the source Walkman software that is failing.

Might be best to dump the Sony music player software package and look for something else - any ideas other than the obvious candidates - something that will scan and pick up shared music folders on wireless drives?
