I'm going to find out how to get RID of that annoying boot logo that shows about 7 seconds before i get the bootscreen of windows. I know there is also a boot logo with sound at the beginning I already got rid of that one easily in the bios....

If there happens to be somebody else whit a good solution who knows we might be able to help eachother....

Hi Carelino,

If by the annoying boot logo you are referring to The Windows XP Boot Logo, then yes it is possible to disable the Windows XP boot-up splash screen, although there isn't a real need to use this tweak as the boot process only speeds up very slightly.

It's a good idea to make a copy of the boot.ini first.

Goto the C drive (if you can not see the boot.ini file goto tools > Folder options > View > and remove the tick from Hide protected operating system files > click apply & OK)
Edit boot.ini
Add " /noguiboot" right after "/fastdetect".
Once complete save

Once you reboot, the splash screen will be gone. It can be re-enabled by removing the new switch.

Thx for fast reply, but that was not what I wanted to get rid of.

Sony annoys me a lot with their shitty bootscreens. First you get a bootscreen of sony with a sound.....then you get another bootscreen of sony with logo's of Sony and two more compagnies then after 10 damm shitty **** up seconds I finnally get to see the Windows XP bootscreen.....

10 sec of time wasted to watch stupid bootscreens of sony. I got rid of the first bootscreen with that stupid sound but untill now I can't seem to find a solution to get rid of the second bootscreen of Sony....thats the one I want to get rid of...

I'm searching but still can't find the solution....help would be appriciated.

Try pressing ESC it worked on older windows

I know what you mean Carelino, but this is something controlled by the BIOS and altering that is a) very tricky and b) maybe something Sony doesn't "want".....

I had a similar problem with my RZ desktop when I replaced the mothrboard with a generic Asus board.

The only difference was you have the option to disable all that Cr*p in the Bios.
