To work it must be properly installed. If you install your own OS, and it doesnt work even after you tried the original drivers and utilities either try harder or recover with the recovery partition (F10 at boot).<BR /><BR />SATA boot discs may give the one or other os installer issues, no idea which one you are using and if it will mess up with the Vaio.
