Internet explorer problem

Hi.
When i first go into internet explorer, an online casino pop-up comes on the screen.
Is there any way of stopping this, its becoming annoying.
Maybe a registry fix?

Hi Chris,

Run your spyware removal tool. If you don't have one try Spybot S&D.

I have tried that, also tried Ccleaner and registry mechanic but still with no luck.

Any other ideas?

Download and run Adaware

Failing that if your firewall does not have the option for pop-up blocking a search on google for a popup blocker should provide you with a download link.

Have you tried Control Panel>>Internet Options>>Privacy

At the bottom, check "Block Pop-Ups" and in "Settings" select "Medium" or "High".

You should also have a Pop-Up blocker in your Firewall.
