      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi Chris, my dwd  rw on my vgn-a217m is displayed in windows and can eject from windows but neither can it read or write. i have uninstalled it and set  cmos to default but still cant get it to work. it has been updated(firmware) to the latest...all to no avail.&lt;BR /&gt;someone please help!!&lt;BR /&gt;longs. thanx&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;The best way to clean a lens is get a wet-lens CD cleaner - its the ISOPROPYL ALCOHOL that you want. Next some cotton wool q-tips (the kind you clean your ears with) is best.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Pop a drop of the alcohol onto a clean q-tip so that its moist - too damp and it will leave bits of loose cotton strands on the lens. Use a light circular motion on the lens and remember never touch the lens. If you do you'll remove the fine laser coatings...&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I'm sure you'll be amazed at how much dirt comes off the lens!&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
