Hi Thundybird,

Can't really help as it could be a number of things. Doesn't sound good. I think you will have to speak to Vaio-Link Support.

Can you give me the full error message - it should say something like "xxxxxxxx.exe is not a valid Win32 Application". This should tell us if the problem is with the download or the installer.

You are obviously not trying to install a 16bit or 64bit application so your download could be corrupt or the shortcut path contains an error.

This error can also occur when something is not completely XP compliant - I hope it's not your new hard drive!!

Hi everyone
I've got my 'fixed' vaio laptop back from vaio. However i am not convinced it is fixed. As my vaio totally went corrupt i have had a new hardrive supposivley. However i everytime i try and install a downloaded program such as skype or msn messenger i get a non valid win32 aplication error message. What does this mean. Also i cannot create a reboot disk, i get an error message about 10 minutes into each attempt. I'm just not happy. I simply need my old working vaio laptop back. What do i do?
