LOL! Sorry I did a mistake. Instead reply a post I made a new post. Anyway...

I have got a vaio sz1hp/b. When it came original, I mean all software installed, the processor was working around 900mhz. When it needed more power it could increase until the top, 1.66gz.

I formated but I installed all drivers from sony and now it doesn't work. My processor is always in 1.66gz.

Does anyone know how to fix it to save more battery?

Thanks a lot and sorry for the crazy post.

OK Have you tried switching around the power settings and rebooting say battery to performance and back. This might nudge it back to work on the battery optimal setting. Power management is available by right clicking the power icon in the task bar. Also reboot using the battery.
