Sad to say that this particular dive has proved to be a real donkey as a search of this forum will reveal. Check whether Device Manager is reporting any problems with the drive, otherwise try the firmware update from Vaio-Link but I don’t really think that this will have any effect as the drive is more than likely dead.<BR /><BR />The ‘Y’ key not working could be either a cable problem or the keyboard itself.
