Hi Fishy1965,

It's Start --> Control Panel --> Mouse

- then Tapping tab

But I don't think it will solve your problem (would be good if yes). I've experienced that on my older desktop with my PS/2 optical mouse - really annoying. (I think I had Office 2000...)

Even now with my vaio my cursor jumps on my screen, but it hasn't happend when working in MS Word or similar application.

I won't offer you a solution I'm affraid, all I can think of are two things in common: Windows XP and an optical mouse. - check updates for both ...

I think it never happend to me in previous versions of MS Windows...

Maybe it's an Office's bug when you press a combination of buttons on your keyboard.....

I know it doesn't help, but it might give you an idea....

Good luck

I am getting frustrated when typing, as I keep managing to jump about the page while typing; which is driving me up the wall. This does not happen all the time, but when it does it really makes me want to swear. Am i doing something wrong, or is there something I can do.:smileysad:
