topic VGN-SZ1XP-C External Display in PCs & Accessories https://community.sony.no/t5/pcs-accessories/vgn-sz1xp-c-external-display/m-p/108262#M92015 <HTML><HEAD></HEAD><BODY><P>I have the vaio connected to an external monitor through a docking station and I am having a problem with the laptop auto sensing the monitor.<BR /><BR />On every other laptop I have used once you have selected the fact you're using an external monitor the laptop remembers this and outputs to the external monitor whenever it is docked.<BR /><BR />The problem with the vaio is that once it is used un-docked and then re-docked it doesn't recognise the external monitor until I push Function-F7.
