I tried for 3 weeks with a new SZ1XP trying to utilize the inbuilt wireless card (worked OK with the USB card and ethernet cable) and in the end sent the Livebox back and bought a BT Voyager wireless router which works brilliantly having updated the firmware to allow Orange BB. Exactly same symptoms as U. Good Luck.
