Updating

VAIO updater shows several updates for my windows 8 SVL2412M1EB desktop computer.

Selecting update starts the download but keeps stopping after about 5 mins with message to say download has failed - try again later.

Have tried many times but always end up getting the same message.

Hi bestlimer,

There has been a server problem for a while now and Sony Support are aware of the problem.

I experienced the problem myself last weekend but eventually after several tries the downloads did work. I suggest you keep trying at various times of the day or alternatively try manually downloading from the following link.

Tried the auto updates but no luck so went down your manual route and all updates downloaded ok. Have installed them with no problem.

I wish Sony would get this fixed as it is now a long standing problem.
