Transferring data files

I hope this has a simple answer; I want to copy data files to my VP and assumed that as I can 'see' it as a drive it would be simple to create a folder and drag files to it. . . It may have been a coincidence but around the same time I was considering upgrading to SS3.0 but all I managed to do was trash my VP:smileycry: (I did create the folder and drag files to it)

Would someone kindly tell me if it is simply a case of creating a folder and copying files or do I have to follow some convoluted path?

Yes, it should be a simple case of drag and drop, can't think what might be wrong with your VP though

yes, but can I create a new folder (or two) or do I have to use one of the existing ones???

Yes you can, about half the used space on my VP is data in many different folders and on the root dirctory as well.

I suggest making a special folder for data so you don't delete something important from the VP
