Memory and Graphics card updates

Aloha my lovelies
I could do with a bit of advice regarding memory upgrades and a better graphics card.

I'm on a PCV-RZ series and I believe I have to work in pairs for upgrading my RAM. Is this correct? I've got 2 x slots of 256 in at the moment, which means I'd have to get another 2 x 256. Although I don't need it it would have been nice to put more in
e.g. 2 x 512.

Also Radeon graphics cards are recommended, but the Vaio is currently running a Geforce 5200.
Can anyone tell me what would really boost gameplay/video etc? (and if it makes any difference if I switch manufacturer)

Did you try http://www.crucial.com/uk/

As for the graphics card I take it it's still an AGP and not PCI Express?

If you get the best AGP card at the moment then you'll see improvments but it won't be as amazing as PCIE

Yeah I got all the info from crucial. I might just rip out the 2 x 256 and stick 2 x 1 gig in. Hee-Hee.

Yes its an AGP but I'm torn twixt Nvidia and Radeon. People seem to like both.

This might be a goodun, but look up the specs before buying. I'm not sure what AGP speed you have (probably 4x)
