topic Automatically waking up from sleep mode in PCs & Accessories https://community.sony.no/t5/pcs-accessories/automatically-waking-up-from-sleep-mode/m-p/640043#M14637 <HTML><HEAD></HEAD><BODY><P>Hi gang,</P><P></P><P>I had cause to do a full factory reinstall on my Sony Vaio E Series model VPCEb4C5E following some issues.</P><P></P><P>Whilst it took care of my problems that i was experiencing sadly one thing has left me scratching my head for answers.</P><P></P><P>Before the forced reinstall, I used to put the laptop into sleep mode by closing the lid, and when opening the lid it would burst into life. </P><P></P><P>Now for some bizarre reason whenever i open the lid, nothing happens until i press a key on the keyboard before it turns back on again.
