Vaio update don't want to update

Hello everyone.

Laptop model: svs1512x1rb

Had some issues with vaio care updating, but after downloading and installing it manually from this tread:

problem was solved and vaio care was happy for a while. But today VAIO update started to act very strange: shows pop-ups about new version available, but dont want to start download it. Even the tray icon didnt change after start (last time there was a little cyrcle, but now afer i trying to update - nothing happens at all). Can anybody help with solving this issue?

Hi copper_gear,

Support have confirmed that there is a server issue which may be the cause of your problem. Please see this thread for further information and any further updates on the situation.

There is also a possibility that your problem has been caused by installing an update that was released by Sony USA and not Sony Europe. Sony Europe have not released a manual update to Vaio Care 8.x - this has only been released as an automated update for your model and all European models.

I suspect that it is the server problem but as you say let's wait and see...
