Does anyone know when Sony are going to provide Windows 8 drivers, specifically for the Z series?

I got my SVZ13 earlier this week and tried putting Windows 8 RTM on it and while Windows did a pretty good job of installing most of the drivers, it did miss a few. Most of these I could probably resolve, but the issue came with installing the drivers for the PMD. Windows installed its own driver for the intel 4000 graphics and mistook the dock as having a 6000M series GPU (which could not be started) rather than the 7670M. No matter what I tried, I couldn't get the Windows 7 driver Sony provide to work - it installs fine, but even then, the 7670M isn't detected.

If anyone has managed to get around this I'd also love to hear how you managed it. I suspect an upgrade from 7 to 8 might work, but I'm trying to avoid that if possible.

Facing the same issue. Smart Network is also not working as it should.

Did anyone find a solution???

I think there is now a set of Windows 8 drivers for the SVZ and VPCZ Vaios on the download website.

The missing driver is the switchable Hybrid ATi/Intel driver for models using the Media Dock. I understand this driver has not yet been developed!

The Hybrid Driver for the S-Series is coming soon via Vaio Update - I hope!
