topic VAIO VPCEB3L0E WINDOWS 8 UPGRADE ISSUE in PCs & Accessories https://community.sony.no/t5/pcs-accessories/vaio-vpceb3l0e-windows-8-upgrade-issue/m-p/637947#M14533 <HTML><HEAD></HEAD><BODY><P>Hi all, </P><P></P><P>I have upgraded to Win 8 on the above laptop - having run the upgrade assistant, it told me that there was an update available for all conflicts and I thought that initially it went pretty smoothly (I had not at that time, found the pages that describe which Vaio models are supported and therefore went forward with the installation)</P><P></P><P>I have found that there are a couple of major issues with the new OS, in that the ATI Mobility Radeon™ HD 5470 Graphics Card is not supported (either by Sony or by AMD for this model), the Catalyst Control Center also does not work anymore - all of which means I cannot watch video (I have sound but black screen when video runs) - and presumably this is also causing the webcam to also not function. I darent try to play a game yet!</P><P></P><P>Everything I have tried has not worked so I wondered if anyone could offer some advice on this?
