My laptop used to play bluerays. I had to replace the hardrive, and then updated to Windows 10. Can anyone help with identifying the appropriate software download I need from the sony website,

You need blu-ray player software.

The originally installed software was WinDVD and there are several downloads for the original program (while running Windows 7 OS) on the support website for your model here:-

Most seem to be updates only, but even if this program installs and runs with Windows 10, it will almost certainly be out of date and will be unlikely to run the latest Blu-Rays.

Probably best to look for some Blu-ray player software - the good ones from Cyberlink and WinDVD are not free but I believe free players are available. Try Google.
