touchscreen on pc

Hi.

I need help with our pc Sony VPCL212FX,I don`t know what happaned,but stopped working touchscreen on our pc,and I can`t find solutions.On pc I have instaled Windows 8.1 PRo.

In Control panel search for "touch". Then click on settings for tablet PC. Try the configurations from there

Hi JanStevak and welcome.

Try alashou's suggestion in Control Panel first.

If this does not work, your Vaio is a Sony USA model so you will need to look on the US Website for support: -

Did you UPGRADE to Win 8.1 Pro using the existing drivers and utilities? Did you follow the Upgrade to 8.1 instructions from Sony HERE:

If you didn't follow these and did a full install, you will probably have deleted most of the Sony specific drivers and will need to download them from the above web link and install them on your Vaio.

It sounds like you will need to install (at least) the NextWindow™ Touch Screen Driver.

There is no new driver for W8.1 so I would try installing the W8.0 driver version 3.1.3.30.0903 which you will find under the Windows 8 64-bit downloads HERE:
