Can't go to boot menu and BIOS

I have Sony Vaio Laptop, model: SVE14A2V1E and I need to boot from USB in order to install Ubuntu. I've tried pressing F2, F8, F10, F12 multiple times while my laptop is turning on, and failed.. I've also tried with advanced startup, din't work either. Please help, I've literally spent my whole day trying to figure it out!
P:S: i have Win 8.1 pro installed.

Hi antomisko123,

Press the assist button when fully shut down. This will open Vaio Care Rescue mode – then F11 to start from media.
