An Ageing Vaio PCG-7162M what is it

Hello all

I have an ageing Sony Vaio PCG-7162M but i cant find anything about it on the sony website. Is there an equivalent laptop that i could get the downloads for?

Hi MeesterDave,

You are quoting a model reference that is in fact a chassis reference that can be common to several models. You need to find the Model Name which is probably VGN- NSXXX. You will find this on a label on the underside, in the BIOS and also in Vaio Control Centre under System Information.

Armed with the correct reference you will find the model on the support site.
