Recovery Tools are being launched...

Hi,

I have a PCG-7134M laptop which will not start in safe mode or normal node.

It stops at the message "Recovery Tools are being launched. Please wait."

I don't have a recovery disk. What should I do?

Hi sylkya and welcome.

You are using an invalid Vaio model. You will need the correct model if you need any help or downloads. Have a look on the screen surround for a model something like VGN-NR38E.

If it is a VGN-NR series Vaio, are you still running the original Windows Vista operating system?

At what stage during Startup do you get this message?

When did it work last? Have you had any other problems or warnings?

Hi,

Thanks for responding, but I got help at techsupportform.com and was able to fix the problem. I ran a diagnostic program and repaired damaged sectors on the hard drive.

Could you be kind enough to tell us what was the diagnostic program you used?
