I've recently aquired one of these and quite like the look of it. However trying to fit Win XP back on there it keeps coming up with error 7. This looks like a memory issue.

I've fit 1GB in there, (2 x 512), but was wondering if it could take more than that?

Hi IJazzi,

The maximum supported RAM on this model is 1024MB.

As you have acquired this notebook and presumably have no knowledge of its history I suggest that you try removing one of the 512MB models in case the two together are incompatible with each other.

If is solves the problem I suggest you purchase two new compatible modules.
