Some day ago both (left and right) buttons started to work like pressing both buttons. I have check all settings and they should be correct. I also updated drivers without benefits. Furthermore the problem is not mechanical, I opened computer and checked that physical buttons work as they should do.

If I use bluetooth mouse, there is no problem.

Could anyone have ideas what to do next?

Best,

Miika

Hi MiiLeh and welcome to the Sony Users Community.

You appear to have carried out the usual troubleshooting steps. As an external mouse works OK, it sounds like a hardware problem to me.

It is possible that a very small flexing of the palmrest when pressing the mouse keys is causing the effect you describe. Unfortunately, the only way to find out is to remove and then re-seat or replace the Touchpad module.

I think that there isn´t any problems with palmrest. I opened it and I used the small buttons on circuit board, which is under palmrest. Also these buttons on circuit board weren´t working problerly. So maybe it´s sofware problem?
