hi all i have an intermittent problem on my laptop after about 6 months of purchase the laptop was always turning itself off at intermitent times after speaking to sony they suggested I try reinstaling the software which got me no where it went back to sony to be repaired and they told me it was the multi function drive 6 months after that the problem returned as it was out of warranty i descided to let a different repair shop have a look they managed to get the laptop running again by removing the partition on the hard drive 3 months down the road I have a laptop that cost a fortune and doesn't work again its been nothing but hasstle I was told to buy toshiba but no I have to buy a sony vaio and got a very expensive ornament I have no idea what to do with it now I would send it back to sony but I am worried about the cost and are they going to fix it to work for more than just a few months like last time if any one has any suggestions apart from chucking it in the bin I would be very grateful why does it seem like its overheating is this a design flaw? is it going to cost a fortune?
