The Sony can be made to read any region using the appropriate software while the Matsushita can't. So we have a corporate behemoth who on one hand is bleating about copyright protection (Sony Pictures) and on the other (Sony Storage) is making DVD drives on which region protection can be compromised.<BR /></P></BODY></HTML> Fri, 03 Sep 2004 09:53:18 GMT https://community.sony.no/t5/pcs-accessories/playing-multizone-dvd-s-on-the-vaio-a-series-notebook/m-p/96839#M125794 vaiodon 2004-09-03T09:53:18Z Re: Playing Multizone DVD's on the Vaio A Series notebook https://community.sony.no/t5/pcs-accessories/playing-multizone-dvd-s-on-the-vaio-a-series-notebook/m-p/96840#M125795 <HTML><HEAD></HEAD><BODY><P>Yes Doom9 seem to know their stuff (and it's contributers).<BR /></P></BODY></HTML> Fri, 03 Sep 2004 13:11:47 GMT https://community.sony.no/t5/pcs-accessories/playing-multizone-dvd-s-on-the-vaio-a-series-notebook/m-p/96840#M125795 kee-lo_ 2004-09-03T13:11:47Z
