VAIO resets

I purchased VAIO PCG-FX905P a year ago. At that period of time my VAIO reset itself on several occasions. Last one happened half an hour ago and I have had it.

How can I work properly if I have to save my work every 5 minutes?

I have my programmes set up on autosave every 1 minute but its stil very annoying. I have payed a full price for this macine and would like to use it properly.

Does this model have any bugs on cooler because it never stops working?

If you have heard of or had a similar problem with this model please e-mail me what to do.

Check the fans are not clogged up.

Fans probably aren't clogged up because cooler starts doesn't start to work as soon as it boots up. Cooler starts couple minutes later, then works for a long time, then turns off for a few minutes, and then starts to work again.

Can this be a temperature sensor failure? If so, can I replace the sensor only?

Its very hard to tell to be honest.
What else are you doing when it dies?
How long have you had the notebook?

I am doing nothing at that moment. I have it a little over one year.

Just a thought, but perhaps the cooler is going into overdrive BECAUSE it's clogged up inside. Being full of crud wouldn't actually stop the cooler working, it just wouldn't do its job. Have you actually checked it's all good. And how long has it been restarting like this?

Yes, it's in overdrive because it's not getting anywhere with the cooling.
