It went into lock-up during a video capture using firewire and simply wouldn't stop activity. I had to turn it off and thereafter the operating system wouldn't boot. So I then restored the C-drive from the Sony recovery disk, however after this it now takes 10 minutes to boot up and sometimes when I try to install missing software, it fails to boot and I have to start again with the recovery disk.<BR /><BR />So I am pretty convinced the hard drive has gone aor is about to go.
