I have my concerns if the chipset is configured correctly please help.
I ran a Intel Hyper-Threading test utility and it could not ID the chipset and failed. The test program passed the Processor and the Bios.
I then downloaded the chipset I.D utility. I run the program and it could not Identify the chipset. So does anyone know how to get this information or know the intel chipset reference, some how. I have to see if there is an update for the chipset or is it upto date?
So i am waiting you tech guys, once chipset is I.D is it worth installing these intel accelerator software programs.etc and re-installing the new chipset info, do i touch this hardware software or leave well alone?.
My machine should work faster i think (1gb ram is fitted as well), i need piece of mind is there some else i should do. The laptop is still only 7-8 months old, is the chipset upto date but some how change settings?
P.s this is a tweak to see if i can make doom3 work better!
My machine shows in the Device manager; 2 Mobile Intel(r) Pentium(r) 4 CPU 3.20GHz
Sorry that the above is abit random in the way written this is new stuff to me.
cheers
lee:smileyconfused:
