Normally your labtop works with WPA.
I don't know why not.

Check the configuraten

1. Network authentication..............WPA-PSK or only WPA
2. Data encoding.............................TKIP or AES (I think TKIP)
3. the Network kee

don't forget the network name

use you a automaticly IP-address or not.
when not, look for the correct IP Address, Standard Getaway, etc.

You can find the MAC-address from your Network card in the connect-details.(physical address).

This address is individual, all network cards have other MAC-addresses.

You seal off the router when you give the router the specific MAC-addresses from your Network-cards +the deactivation of the option "accept new MAC-addresses" on the Router.(excuse me for my english)

But, sorry I think that's not the answer of your question.:smileysad:

Yeah, that's logical

Sorry, I've no idea, I can't help you more. That's the end from my wisdom.

Have you used the e-support ?
I mean the manufacturer from your Router.

(Da ist irgendwo der Wurm drin)

Until you have an answer of your question, I would try to use a stronger key ( like 152Bit or hire).

Watch out your traffic. WEP use a strong key-------> one key for the connection, uninteresting how long.

That's critical for the security, when you have a big traffic.

Sorry, Good luck
