Please help - crashes

Hi, wondered if anyone could help.

I have a Sony K215B but it keeps crashing (approx 1 in 2 days) whenever I am on internet explorer but sometimes just using windows. The screen goes all white and grainy and its just dead. Somtimes it just goes black or it just restarts itself.

There is no reason why it should be overheating as its in a room under normal room temp and is in a well-airiated position.

I heard that shared libraries or something can help solve a lot of problems. Anyone know where to get this?

By all means try the Sony Shared Libraries but what worries me is this white and grainy symptom. I would call VAIO Link for a pickuo.

Try this

Firstly check if you have C:\UTILS\UTILS.EXE, if you have then you can simple double click it and let it do its thing.

Failing that, click the above link then:
1. Download the Original Utilities Package.
2. Pick a suitable directory to put it, I recommend C:\Drivers\Utilities
3. Run the Utilities package from the directory in step 2.
4. Restart your computer.
