Sony video recorders last long.

Why don't SonyCorp. continue supporting his buyers ...I mean us the customers.

I have been looking for a user manual for the EV_S9000E and can't find any help.

All your ideas are welcomed.

Which leads me to a second question .

Why doesn't the EV series appear in any Sony support forum ?

Or any other query for HI8 ? Does Sony really "sucks".

Apple has just started an Apple Support Communities ...if Sony

goes that way too it will help maintain his faithful customers!

I have one ,can send to you.

My EV-S9000E need to change some boards inside to work (I Think)

Last year it could play well, but now only sound output ,pict only see bw stripe!!!

Hope I can find some parts in your country,Hong Kong Sony not support at all.

I am looking for the user manual for the sony Recorder EV-S9000E.

So far, I have found the service manual, but I need something more basic, which describes how to set up the recorder.

I have seen on the messages above that the manual can be printed on demand. Where can I get the manual printed? Isnt there a scanned version?

I hope all is well with you. I have this VCR. Recently it has a problem. the LED display gone blank. I am based in Dublin(Ireland). I hope anyone can point me to a right repair center.
